Description: Belt Tempering Furnace (rated for 1500 lbs/hr.) complete with alloy slat type conveyor belt fabricated from ¼” flat-stock attached to roller chain. There is a 98” load table, 21’ long heated area divided into (4) zones, a 6’ long cooling section with water-cooled heat exchanger, and 88” unloading table. There is a circulating fan in each of the heated zones and the cooling section. Adjustable doors are on each end and between the cooling section and zone 4. The heating elements are located over the work area.
Instrumentation: Controls are mounted in a triple door electrical enclosure with disconnect switch. Each of the (4) heat zones are controlled by a CAL 9900 digital controller and a Eurotherm 92 digital high limit. Control switches for the heat and fan motors are surface mounted. Amp meters for each of the (4) zones are also surface mounted. Inside are SCR’s and high limit contactors for each zone. Motor starters, control relays, belt drive, and fuses are also mounted inside.
